  • Anthony Guerino

    DVM

Dr. Anthony Guerino was born in central Massachusetts and graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in physiology. He returned home to attend veterinary school at Tufts University, where he graduated in 1989. Dr. Guerino knew at a very young age that he wanted to be a veterinarian. At 14, he began to work at a local animal hospital. He continued there over the next 12 years doing everything from cleaning and maintenance to answering the phone and assisting in surgery. Shortly after graduation from veterinary school, he took on the position of Medical Director at VCA Animal Medical Center, where he remains today. Dr. Guerino treats all companion animals, but has a special interest in avian and exotic pets. He is a member of AAZ, ARAV and AEMV and sees pets from all over New England. It's not unusual to see birds, ferrets and reptiles sitting next to one another in the waiting room. He lives in Durham, NH with his three children, two cats, and a dog. When he's not in the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his children and traveling.

  • Katherine Bouras

    DVM

Dr. Katherine Bouras has been with VCA Animal Medical Center since 1999. She grew up in the Washington, DC area. Katherine knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since the age of eight. She grew up riding and showing horses and caring for various animals including goats, sheep, chickens and her own dog and cat. Dr. Bouras received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her veterinary degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She loves general medicine and working with our wonderful clients and patients. She lives in Maine with her husband, son, and cat Coco. When not at work she enjoys sewing, reading, cooking, kayaking and spending time with her family.

  • Cinthia Fulton

    BVMS

Dr. Cindy Fulton was raised in southern California. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from the age of 5, and kept multiple pet species growing up (cats, dogs, hamster, lovebird, tropical fish, goldfish, lizards, toads). Cindy obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly) where she majored in animal science. She worked as a veterinary technician at a VCA hospital during her college years. After college, Cindy attended veterinary school at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, where she graduated in July 2006. Her main interest during vet school was avian medicine and surgery, and she was an officer of the university veterinary zoological society for several years in a row. Upon graduation, Cindy moved back to California and completed a 1-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Sacramento Animal Medical Group. She then moved to New Hampshire to experience living in the snow and working with a larger exotic pet community. Her own pets include 2 cats, 1 bird (a male blue Indian ringneck), and 7 exotic tarantulas. She's currently interested in fish medicine/surgery, camping, hiking, beginning snowboarding, snowshoeing, casual biking, watching movies, and playing classical piano.
